Cape Wrath to Brora

Cape Wrath

This is the story of a solo walking trip from mainland Britain’s most north-westerly point, Cape Wrath, to Brora, on the East Coast of Sutherland, in Scotland. The author navigated a non-waymarked route of some 120km (75 miles) over 70 days in glorious weather in May 2008, making it perhaps the most memorable experience of his entire life.

You are invited to accompany him on his own personal ‘incredible’ journey, sharing the thrills of witnessing the wealth of wildlife, the stunningly magnificent scenery, the archaeological remains of man’s imprint on the landscape and the immense solitude presented by such a huge expanse of possibly the remotest part of the country.

Although sadly out of print at this time, this book is highly recommended by the Society members that have enjoyed reading it. If you can find a copy – buy it!
